Change of Name of Certain Barrios in Poro, Cebu
Republic Act No. 5595, enacted on June 21, 1969, officially renames several barrios in the Municipality of Poro, Cebu. Barrio Tiguis is now known as Barrio Martinez, Barrio Cagcagan is renamed Barrio Garciano, and Barrio Cansabusab has become Barrio Sosmea. The act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on November 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5595
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PORO, PROVINCE OF CEBU
SECTION 1. Hereafter, Barrio Tiguis shall be known as Barrio Martinez; Barrio Cagcagan as Barrio Garciano; and Barrio Cansabusab as Barrio Sosmeña.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
