Change of Name of Barrio Bega, Butuan City to Barrio El Rio
Republic Act No. 4996, enacted on June 17, 1967, officially changes the name of Barrio Bega in Butuan City to Barrio El Rio. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 24, 1969. It was enacted without the need for Executive approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4996
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF BARRIO BEGA, BUTUAN CITY, TO BARRIO EL RIO
SECTION 1. The name of Barrio Bega, Butuan City, is hereby changed to Barrio El Rio. cdt
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without Executive approval, June 17, 1967.
