REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9644
AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST 28 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CAGAYAN DE ORO TO BE KNOWN AS "CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY DAY"
SECTION 1. August 28 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking public holiday in the City of Cagayan de Oro, Province of Misamis Oriental to celebrate the feast day of St. Augustine, the patron saint of the City, and to be known as "Cagayan de Oro City Day".
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
