Basista, Pangasinan as Duly Constituted Municipality
Republic Act No. 4866, enacted on May 8, 1967, officially declares Basista, a town in the Province of Pangasinan, as a duly constituted municipality. This designation was initially established by Executive Order No. 446 in 1961. Under this Act, all elective officials of Basista are to remain in office until their successors are elected and qualified. The Act took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette in 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4866
AN ACT DECLARING BASISTA, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, CREATED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-SIX DATED SEPTEMBER FIVE, NINETEEN HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE, AS A DULY CONSTITUTED MUNICIPALITY
SECTION 1. The town of Basista, Province of Pangasinan, created by Executive Order Numbered Four hundred forty-six dated September five, nineteen hundred sixty-one, is hereby declared a duly constituted municipality as of the date it was created by said executive order.
All elective officials of said town shall continue to hold office until their successors are elected and shall have qualified.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without Executive approval on May 8, 1967.
