Balawag National High School in Barangay Balawag, Tabuk, Kalinga
Republic Act No. 8826, enacted on August 22, 2000, establishes the Balawag National High School in Barangay Balawag, Municipality of Tabuk, Province of Kalinga. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is authorized to issue necessary rules and regulations to implement the Act. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act following its enactment. The law takes effect upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 5, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8826
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BALAWAG, MUNICIPALITY OF TABUK, PROVINCE OF KALINGA TO BE KNOWN AS THE BALAWAG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in Barangay Balawag, Municipality of Tabuk, Province of Kalinga to be known as the Balawag National High School. EHTIDA
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby authorized to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. TCIDSa
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
