Automation of the Payroll System for Retired Judges
OCA Circular No. 56-04, dated April 20, 2004, informs all retired judges in the Philippines about the implementation of an Automated Payroll System (APS) in collaboration with the Land Bank of the Philippines. Pensioner judges are required to open APS accounts at their nearest Land Bank branch and provide their account details to the Supreme Court's Office of Administrative Services. The new system mandates an initial account balance of P100.00 and a minimum balance of P500.00 to earn interest. Pension payments will be credited on the 7th of each month, contingent on fund release by the Department of Budget and Management. Compliance with these guidelines will help streamline the payroll process for retired judges.
