Authorizing the PCSO to Hold Lottery for the Benefit of the 'Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas'

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2238
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE TO HOLD A LOTTERY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE "ASOCIACION DE DAMAS DE FILIPINAS"
SECTION 1. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is authorized to hold a lottery, the whole proceeds of which shall, after deducting the payment of the prizes and expenses as provided in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred sixty-nine, as amended, be turned over to the "Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas" for the maintenance of its settlement house.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
