Authority of Isabela School of Arts and Trades to Offer Teacher Education Curricula
Republic Act No. 4262, enacted on June 19, 1965, authorizes the Isabela School of Arts and Trades to offer teacher education programs leading to degrees in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts. The law also allows the school to provide evening classes in these fields, as well as in trade and industrial education. To support these initiatives, an appropriation of 350,000 pesos is allocated for the fiscal year 1965-1966, with future funding to be included in the annual budget for the Bureau of Vocational Education. The act took effect upon its approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4262
AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ISABELA SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TO OFFER TEACHER EDUCATION CURRICULA LEADING TO THE DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION AND THE DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL ARTS, AND TO OFFER EVENING CLASSES IN SUCH COURSES AND IN TRADE AND INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE
SECTION 1. The Isabela School of Arts and Trades, situated in the Province of Isabela, is hereby authorized to offer teacher education curricula leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education and the degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts. Evening classes shall be offered in such courses and in trade and industrial education.
SECTION 2. The sum of three hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the curricula during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-five to nineteen hundred sixty-six. Thereafter, the necessary funds for the purpose shall be included in the appropriations provided for the Bureau of Vocational Education in the annual General Appropriations Act. acd
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
