MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 113
AUTHORIZING ALL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) PROFESSIONALS IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES TO ATTEND ON OFFICIAL TIME THE 5TH MINDANAO INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY CONGRESS 2006 ON SEPTEMBER 20 TO 22, 2006 IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY
The Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce & Industry Foundation (Oro Chamber), the Mindanao Business Council (MinBC), the City Government of Cagayan de Oro City and the Regional Information Technology and E-Commerce Committee of the Regional Development Council-10 (RDC-10) will host the conduct of the 5th Mindanao ICT Congress on September 20 to 22, 2006 at the Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
This congress supports the thrust of the government to open up more cyber-corridors promoting the establishment of more call centers and other business process outsourcing opportunities in Mindanao, thus, generating more employment and other support business industries and opportunities.
Thus, to ensure maximum gain and participation of the event, all ICT professionals and practitioners in all Mindanao-based government departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned and/or controlled corporations (GOCCs) and their subsidiaries, government financing institutions (GFIs), state universities and colleges (SUCs), and local government units (LGUs), are therefore encouraged to send their respective representatives/personnel to attend this conference on official time subject to the availability of funds and provided such attendance will not adversely affect the functions of their respective offices as well as the delivery of services to the public.
