Attendance and Participation of OP Employees in Annual Malacañang Sportsfest

MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 427
AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION OF OP PROPER EMPLOYEES IN THE ANNUAL MALACAÑANG SPORTSFEST FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1997
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 64, dated March 1, 1993, adopting a national policy of "sports for all" and Memorandum Order No. 212, dated June 9, 1994, institutionalizing the annual sportsfest in this Office as part of the human resource development program of the Office of the President to enhance employee welfare, morale, productivity, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and human relations, officials and employees of this Office are hereby enjoined to participate or support the annual Malacañang Sportsfest for Calendar Year 1997.
As in previous years, the Personnel Office is hereby tasked to plan and implement said annual sportsfest. prcd
All heads of primary units and offices are hereby authorized to allow as many officials and employees as possible to attend and participate on official time in said sports activities in the Office of the President.
To minimize, if not avoid, disruption of office work, sports activities shall be scheduled once a week preferably on a Wednesday or any day that the Personnel Office may designate as the athletic day in this Office.
The usual payment of necessary and incidental expenses in connection with this program, including reasonable allowance not exceeding P50.00 per day for actual attendance and participation in sports activities is hereby authorized, chargeable against OP funds intended for the purpose, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
