Republic Act No. 3244, enacted on June 17, 1961, approves the transfer of the franchise, rights, and privileges initially granted to the Bulletin Publishing Company, Inc. under Republic Act No. 2374 to the Bulletin Publishing Corporation. This act facilitates the continuation of broadcasting and television operations in the Philippines under the new corporate entity. The law takes effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 12, 1962.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3244

AN ACT APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE FRANCHISE, RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES GRANTED TO THE BULLETIN PUBLISHING COMPANY, INCORPORATED, BY REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR IN FAVOR OF THE BULLETIN PUBLISHING CORPORATION

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Twenty-three hundred seventy-four, entitled "An Act granting the Bulletin Publishing Company, Inc., a franchise to construct, maintain and operate radio broadcasting and television stations in the Philippines," approval is hereby given to transfer the franchise, rights and privileges granted to the Bulletin Publishing Company, Incorporated, under the said Act, in favor of the Bulletin Publishing Corporation. acd

SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
