Approval of the Addenda to Sixth Investment Priorities Plan and Fourth Export Priorities Plan

On December 26, 1973, President Ferdinand E. Marcos approved the Addenda to the Sixth Investment Priorities Plan and the Fourth Export Priorities Plan, as prepared by the Board of Investments and recommended by the National Economic and Development Authority. This approval follows the provisions of the Investment Incentives Act (Republic Act No. 5186) and the Export Incentives Act (Republic Act No. 6135). The Addenda were deemed feasible and compliant with existing laws. This proclamation marks the official effectivity of the updated plans aimed at enhancing investment and export activities in the Philippines.

LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 154

ANNOUNCING THE APPROVAL AND EFFECTIVITY OF THE ADDENDA TO THE SIXTH INVESTMENT PRIORITIES PLAN AND FOURTH EXPORT PRIORITIES PLAN UNDER THE INVESTMENT INCENTIVES ACT AND EXPORT INCENTIVES ACT

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 5186, otherwise known as the Investment Incentives Act, and Republic Act No. 6135, otherwise known as the Export Incentives Act, the Board of Investments has prepared the Addenda to the Sixth Investment Priorities Plan and the Fourth Export Priorities Plan and the same have been submitted to me for approval through, and with the recommendation of the National Economic and Development Authority; cdt

WHEREAS, after a careful study of the said Addenda to the Plans and their supporting data, I found the Addenda to be feasible and in conformity with law and accordingly approved it;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 18 of Republic Act No. 5186 and Section 4 of Republic Act No. 6135, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare and proclaim in effect the Addenda to the Sixth Investment Priorities Plan and the Fourth Export Priorities Plan hereto attached.
