Appropriation of Funds to Continue the Payment of Retirement Gratuities or Pensions under Existing Laws
Commonwealth Act No. 710, enacted on November 1, 1945, appropriates two million pesos for the payment of retirement gratuities and pensions to eligible individuals under existing laws. The release of these funds is contingent upon certification from the Secretary of Finance and the Auditor General that sufficient funds are available in the National Treasury. Additionally, the Act abolishes the "Veterans of Philippine Revolutions or Wars Pension Fund," integrating its appropriations into the Annual General Appropriation Act. The Act takes effect upon approval.
