REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2671
AN ACT APPROPRIATING ANNUALLY THE SUM OF TWO MILLION PESOS FOR THE CONTROL AND EXTERMINATION OF RATS AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL PESTS, AND FOR NECESSARY RESEARCH WORK FOR SUCH PURPOSE
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one million pesos to be expended by the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources for the control and extermination of rats and other agricultural pests; and one million pesos to be expended for scientific research to be undertaken by the National Science Development Board, including the hiring of foreign scientists to undertake the same.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
