ACT NO. 3875
AN ACT MAKING AVAILABLE THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF THE APPROPRIATION MADE IN ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE COMPENSATION OF TAX SPECIALISTS AND OTHER EXPENSES INCIDENTAL TO THE REVISION OF THE SYSTEMS OF TAXATION INCLUDING THE TARIFF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE EXPENSES OF THE COMMITTEE ON NATIONAL ECONOMY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. The unexpended balance of the appropriation made in Act Numbered Thirty-seven hundred and eighteen, entitled "An Act appropriating the sum of one hundred thousand pesos for the payment of the compensation of tax specialists and other expenses incidental to the revision of the systems of taxation including the tariff, and for other purposes," which was made available by the general appropriation Act for the year nineteen hundred and thirty-two for the expenses of the Committee on Taxation created by the Ninth Philippine Legislature is also hereby made available in the sum not to exceed twenty-five thousand pesos for the expenses of the Committee on National Economy, with the approval of the presiding officers of both Houses, in accordance with the provisions of Concurrent Resolution Numbered Nine adopted on November seventh, nineteen hundred and thirty-one, including salaries of the personnel and other incidental expenses for the years nineteen hundred and thirty-one and nineteen hundred and thirty-two which may be necessary for the proper compliance of the purposes set forth in said Regulation. SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
