ACT NO. 2795
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF SIXTY THOUSAND PESOS, OR SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECESSARY, FOR THE PREPARATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A MAUSOLEUM TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THE LATE HONORABLE WILLIAM ATKINSON JONES, REPRESENTATIVE FOR VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of sixty thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be expended, under the direction of a committee composed of the Honorable Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Senate, and the Honorables Jaime C. de Veyra and Teodoro Yangco, Philippine Resident Commissioners in the United States, for the design, construction, and, in general, all the expenses approved by said committee for the planning and execution at Warsaw, Virginia, of a mausoleum dedicated to the memory of the late William Atkinson Jones, Representative for Virginia.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
