ACT NO. 2794
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS, TO BE ADDED TO FUNDS TO BE APPROPRIATED BY THE PROVINCIAL BOARD OF BULACAN AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF BULACAN, OF THE SAME PROVINCE, AND RAISED BY PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A LOT AND THE ERECTION THEREON OF A SCHOOLHOUSE, IN THE BARRIO OF SAN NICOLAS, MUNICIPALITY OF BULACAN, PROVINCE OF BULACAN, DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF MARCELO H. DEL PILAR; TO REGULATE THE INVESTMENT OF SAID FUNDS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. The sum of fifteen thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for expenditure, together with an additional sum of fifteen thousand pesos, of which sum five thousand pesos shall be appropriated by the provincial board and five thousand by the municipality of Bulacan, and the remaining five thousand raised by voluntary subscription, for the purchase of a lot and the construction thereon of a schoolhouse dedicated to the memory of Marcelo H. del Pilar, in the barrio of San Nicolas, municipality of Bulacan, Province of Bulacan.
SECTION 2. The building to be constructed with said funds shall bear, on its facade, the likeness of Marcelo H. del Pilar, either in bust or in relief, and such inscriptions in bronze or marble as may be approved, in conformity with existing regulations.
SECTION 3. Any unexpended balance of the funds herein appropriated left after the completion of the building may be expended for the purchase, care, and suitable arrangement of the land on which the buildings shall be constructed.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on its approval. HSAcaE
