ACT NO. 2569
AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE OFFICE OF PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR OF THE PROVINCE OF MINDORO SHALL BE ELECTIVE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. It is hereby provided that the office of provincial governor of the Province of Mindoro shall be elective. His qualifications, the qualifications of the electors, the date of the election, the form and manner in which the same shall be effected, the term of office, and the manner of filling the same in case of absence, illness, or vacancy, shall be governed by the provisions of the Election Law, as amended by subsequent legislation. His duties and powers shall be those prescribed by Act Numbered Thirteen hundred and ninety-six and its amendments.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
