ACT NO. 3029
AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE MEDICAL INSPECTION OF THE CHILDREN OF THE PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS
SECTION 1. Beginning with the month of June, nineteen hundred and twenty-two, it shall be the duty of the Director of Health to provide for the medical inspection of the children in all Government elementary schools at least once each year.
SECTION 2. The Director of Health shall detail any surgeon or officer of the Health Service to make such inspection without additional remuneration: Provided, however, That the traveling expenses and per diems of surgeons or health officers so detailed shall be paid out of the funds of the Bureau of Education.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
Approved, March 8, 1922.
