COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 629
AN ACT TO DESIGNATE THE PROVINCIAL SHERIFF IN PROVINCES WHERE THERE ARE CHARTERED CITIES AS SHERIFF EX-OFFICIO THEREOF, WITH ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION
SECTION 1. The provincial sheriff of the provinces to which chartered cities belong, shall be ex-officio the city sheriff, with an additional compensation not exceeding one thousand pesosper annum to be fixed by the respective city council, payable out of the city funds.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Approved, June 10, 1941.
