ACT NO. 3126
AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION TWO OF ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN, AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF AGRICULTURE TO PURCHASE MOTORCYCLES FOR THE ANTHRAX CAMPAIGN
SECTION 1. Section two of Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and nineteen is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 2. The sum above appropriated shall be disbursed by the Director of Agriculture, with the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, for the purchase or manufacture of anthrax serum and vaccine, the purchase of necessary instruments and utensils, the purchase of not more than ten fully equipped motorcycles, the payment of salaries and traveling expenses of the necessary additional personnel, and the payment of the necessary expenses of emergency guards for the proper enforcement of such quarantine measures as may be prescribed and adopted."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
