ACT NO. 2998
AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION THREE OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-TWO, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE IN WHAT LANGUAGE ACCOUNT BOOKS SHALL BE KEPT, AND TO ESTABLISH PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION," AUTHORIZING THE SUSPENSION OF THE EFFECTS OF SAID ACT
SECTION 1. Section three of Act Numbered Twenty-nine hundred and seventy-two is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on November first, nineteen hundred and twenty-one: Provided, however, That the Governor-General may, by proclamation, suspend the effects of this Act for a period not to extend beyond January first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
