An Act to Amend Act Numbered Two Hundred and Thirty-Eight, Regulating the Police Control of Cavite Harbor and Vesting the Same in the Admiral of the United States Navy Commanding the Asiatic Station, as Amended, by Providing that Nothing in the Act Contained shall Affect the Customs Jurisdiction of the Insular Collector of Customs
Act No. 675, enacted on March 12, 1903, amends Act No. 238, which regulates police control of Cavite Harbor. The amendment clarifies that the jurisdiction of the Admiral of the United States Navy over the harbor does not interfere with the customs authority of the Insular Collector of Customs. This ensures that customs officials retain the power to protect the customs revenues related to vessels in the harbor. The Act was expedited for immediate effect upon passage.
