Republic Act No. 8891, enacted on August 22, 2000, establishes the Teodoro A. Dionisio National High School by separating the Pulo High School Annex in Barangay Malapit, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija from the Pulo High School. This new institution will operate independently, with all personnel, records, assets, and liabilities transferred from the annex. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with implementing the necessary regulations for this transition. Funding for the school will initially come from the current year's budget of the annex, with future appropriations included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The act took immediate effect upon approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8891
AN ACT SEPARATING THE PULO HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN BARANGAY MALAPIT, SAN ISIDRO, NUEVA ECIJA FROM THE PULO HIGH SCHOOL AND CONVERTING THE SAME INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE TEODORO A. DIONISIO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Pulo High School Annex in Barangay Malapit, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija is hereby separated from the Pulo High School and converted into an independent high school to be known as the Teodoro A. Dionisio National High School. HScAEC
SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. All personnel, records and assets and liabilities of the Pulo High School Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Teodoro A. Dionisio National High School.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Pulo High School Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continuous operations and maintenance of the Teodoro A. Dionisio National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
