An Act Separating the PNS-Panitian Annex School in Barangay Panitian, Municipality of Sofronio Española, Province of Palawan, from the Palawan National School-Main, and Converting the Same into a National High School to be Known as the PNS-Panitian National High School, and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8520, enacted on February 13, 1998, establishes the PNS-Panitian National High School by separating it from the Palawan National School-Main in Barangay Panitian, Sofronio Espaola, Palawan. The Act mandates the transfer of all personnel, records, assets, and obligations from the PNS-Panitian Annex School to the newly formed national high school. Additionally, it requires the Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports to issue the necessary implementation guidelines. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the subsequent fiscal year. The Act took effect upon its approval, having lapsed into law without the President's signature.

AN ACT SEPARATING THE PNS-PANITIAN ANNEX SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PANITIAN, MUNICIPALITY OF SOFRONIO ESPAÑOLA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, FROM THE PALAWAN NATIONAL SCHOOL-MAIN, AND CONVERTING THE SAME INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PNS-PANITIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The existing PNS-Panitian Annex School in Barangay Panitian, Municipality of Sofronio Española, Province of Palawan, is hereby separated from the Palawan National School-Main and the same is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the PNS-Panitian National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 3. All personnel, records, assets and properties including buildings, sites and the improvements thereof, obligations, funds and appropriations of the PNS-Panitian Annex School are hereby transferred to the PNS-Panitian National High School.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
