Republic Act No. 9234, enacted on January 16, 2004, officially renames the Camarines Sur section of the Quirino Highway to Rolando R. Andaya Highway. The Department of Public Works and Highways is tasked with implementing this change. The Act repeals or modifies any conflicting laws or orders. It took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 29, 2004.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9234
AN ACT RENAMING THE CAMARINES SUR PORTION OF THE QUIRINO HIGHWAY AS ROLANDO R. ANDAYA HIGHWAY
SECTION 1. The existing Quirino Highway starting from the Camarines Sur-Quezon boundary up to the Municipality of Sipocot, Province of Camarines Sur is hereby renamed Rolando R. Andaya Highway. IDCScA
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways is hereby directed to implement the provision of this Act.
SECTION 3. All laws, decrees, orders and issuances or any part thereof inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. CDTAbench
