ACT NO. 2001
AN ACT PROVIDING THAT THE CITY TREASURER OF BAGUIO SHALL BE EX OFFICIO REGISTER OF DEEDS FOR THE SUBPROVINCE OF BENGUET, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, AND RATIFYING, CONFIRMING AND VALIDATING ALL ACTS PERFORMED AS REGISTER OF DEEDS BY THE DEPUTY PROVINCIAL TREASURER OF THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE FOR THE SUBPROVINCE OF BENGUET
SECTION 1. There shall be a register of deeds for the subprovince of Benguet, Mountain Province, who shall have the power and perform the duties of register of deeds within said subprovince. The city treasurer of Baguio shall be ex officio register of deeds of the subprovince of Benguet. All expenses of every kind incident to the office of register of deeds, except such as are for and on account of the city of Baguio, shall be paid out of the provincial treasury of the Mountain Province. SECTION 2. All acts heretofore done and performed as register of deeds by the deputy provincial treasurer of the Mountain Province for the sub-province of Benguet which might lawfully have been done and performed therein by a duly authorized register of deeds are, and each of them is, hereby ratified, confirmed, and validated as of the respective dates thereof.
SECTION 3. All Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent or in conflict herewith are, in so far only as they relate hereto, hereby repealed.
