COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 414
AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDS SO THAT THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES MAY CONTINUE THE NEGOTIATIONS ALREADY STARTED BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND THE PHILIPPINES WITH A VIEW TO ADJUSTING THE ECONOMIC AND TRADE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES
SECTION 1. In order that the President of the Philippines may continue the negotiations already started between the United States and the Philippines looking towards the adoption of the necessary measures to adjust the economic and trade relations between the two countries on a basis mutually beneficial to both, there is appropriated out of any funds in the Philippine Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos to defray, in the discretion of the President of the Philippines, the necessary expenses that may be incurred in connection with the said negotiations. SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
