REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8305
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARATION OF THE SULIVAN HIGH SCHOOL EXTENSION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALIUAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN, FROM THE MARIANO PONCE HIGH SCHOOL, AND CONVERTING THE SAME INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SULIVAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Sulivan High School extension in Barangay Sulivan, Municipality of Baliuag, Province of Bulacan, is hereby separated from the Mariano Ponce High School, also in the Municipality of Baliuag, and converted into an independent national high school, to be known as the Sulivan National High School.
SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Mariano Ponce National High School — Sulivan High School Extension. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Sulivan National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
* Lapsed into law on June 6, 1997 without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
