ACT NO. 2220
AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT ACT BY AUTHORIZING PROVINCIAL BOARDS TO FIX OR CHANGE THE SALARIES OF LIEUTENANT GOVERNORS OF SUB-PROVINCES GOVERNED UNDER ACT NUMBERED EIGHTY-THREE
SECTION 1. Section seven of Act Numbered Eighty-three, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding at the end thereof the following:
"The provincial board of every province composed in part of a subprovince is further authorized, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, to fix or change by resolution the salary of the lieutenant governor of such subprovince."
SECTION 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the same shall take effect on its passage, in accordance with section one of Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and forty-five of the Philippine Legislature.
