ACT NO. 570
AN ACT FOR THE RELIEF OF JUAN ARANETA
SECTION 1. Whereas Juan Araneta, although not duly appointed to such position, has acted as superintendent of the Government farm known as "La Granja Modelo," in Occidental Negros, and has saved valable Government property from deterioration and destruction, the sum of two thousand two hundred and seventy-five dollars, local currency, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to compensate him for his services from December twenty-eight, nineteen hundred and one, to September thirtieth, nineteen hundred and two.
SECTION 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
ENACTED, December 31, 1902.
