ACT NO. 1922
AN ACT EMPOWERING THE SPEAKER OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSEMBLY TO GRANT IN HIS DISCRETION AND UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS TO EMPLOYEES OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSEMBLY PRIVILEGES SIMILAR TO THOSE GRANTED TO EMPLOYEES OF THE CLASSIFIED CIVIL SERVICE OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS BY THE REVISED CIVIL SERVICE ACT
SECTION 1. The Speaker of the Philippine Assembly is hereby authorized to grant in his discretion to employees of said Philippine Assembly under the provisions of "The Revised Civil Service Act" privileges similar to those granted by said Act to employees of the classified civil service of the Philippine Government: Provided, however, That this Act shall not apply to employees who are only employed temporarily in the offices of the Assembly during the times that it is in session or who render services for any time less than one year: And provided further, That in every case where such privileges are granted to an employee it shall be an indispensable requisite that he shall have rendered at least one year of continuous and satisfactory service.
SECTION 2. All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
