An Act Declaring December Eight of Every Year a Special Nonworking Holiday in Angeles City in Commemoration of its Foundation Day
Republic Act No. 8315, enacted on June 30, 1997, designates December 8 of each year as a special nonworking holiday in Angeles City to commemorate its foundation day. The law automatically took effect upon approval, as it lapsed into law without the President's signature, in accordance with the Philippine Constitution. The act was published in the Official Gazette on September 29, 1997.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8315
AN ACT DECLARING DECEMBER EIGHT OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN ANGELES CITY IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDATION DAY
SECTION 1. December eight of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in Angeles City in commemoration of its foundation day.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
* Lapsed into law on June 30, 1997, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
