REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9071
AN ACT DECLARING 13TH DAY OF JUNE OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO TO BE KNOWN AS THE OCCIDENTAL MINDORO FOUNDATION DAY OR IN THE LOCAL VERNACULAR AS "ARAW NG KANLURANG MINDORO"
SECTION 1. In June 13, 1950, Republic Act No. 505, entitled "An Act to Create the Provinces of Oriental and Occidental Mindoro" was enacted into law. In commemoration of this historical event, the 13th day of June of each year is hereby declared a special working public holiday in the Province of Oriental Mindoro to be known as the Foundation Day of this province. SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
