AN ACT CONVERTING THE CAGAYAN VALLEY REGIONAL HOSPITAL INTO A MEDICAL CENTER TO BE KNOWN AS THE CAGAYAN VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Cagayan Valley Regional Hospital in the Municipality of Tuguegarao, Cagayan (Region II) is hereby converted into a medical center to be renamed as Cagayan Valley Medical Center, hereinafter referred to as the Center and increasing its bed capacity to five hundred (500).
SECTION 2. The Department of Health shall promulgate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
