Republic Act No. 8229, enacted on November 10, 1996, officially renames Pinalpalan Elementary School in Barangay Pinalpalan, Municipality of Malita, Davao del Sur, to Juanito Doromal, Sr. Elementary School. The Act took effect upon its approval and lapsed into law without the President's signature, in accordance with the Philippine Constitution. It was subsequently published in the Official Gazette on January 20, 1997.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF PINALPALAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PINALPALAN, MUNICIPALITY OF MALITA, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR, INTO JUANITO DOROMAL, SR. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The name of Pinalpalan Elementary School in Barangay Pinalpalan, Municipality of Malita, Province of Davao del Sur, is changed to Juanito Doromal, Sr. Elementary School. cd
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
