COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 307

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES ON BEHALF OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES TO SUPPLEMENT AND AMEND THE AGREEMENT HERETOFORE EXECUTED BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLAND AND THE ATLANTIC, GULF AND PACIFIC COMPANY OF MANILA, PURSUANT TO ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND AND FIFTY-SIX

SECTION 1. The President of the Philippines is authorized and empowered to enter on behalf of the Commonwealth of the Philippines into any agreement or agreements with the Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company, a corporation duly organized and doing business under the laws of the Philippines, as may be necessary to supplement and amend the original agreement entered into pursuant to Act Numbered Three thousand and fifty-six, in order to make the work therein contemplated conform to the changes recommended by the Director of Public Works and approved by the Secretary of Public Works and Communications, under such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon by both parties; and upon completion of the work to execute for the Government of the Commonwealth, as successor to the Government of the Philippine Islands, all documents and deeds called for by said Act Numbered Three thousand and fifty-six which under said Act would be executed by the Governor-General of the Philippine Islands.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
