COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 577
AN ACT AUTHORIZING HIS EXCELLENCY, MANUEL L. QUEZON, PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES, TO ACCEPT THE DECORATION KNOWN AS THE "GRAND'CROIX DE L'ORDRE DE LA COURONNE", CONFERRED UPON HIM BY HIS MAJESTY, LEOPOLD III, KING OF THE BELGIANS
SECTION 1. For the purpose of promoting international friendship and understanding, His Excellency, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, is authorized to accept the decoration known as the "Grand'Croix de l'Ordre de la Couronne," conferred upon him by His Majesty, Leopold III, the King of Belgium, and to wear the insignia of the Order.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted, without Executive approval, June 8, 1940.
