ACT NO. 845
AN ACT APPROPRIATING SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, UNITED STATES CURRENCY FOR IMPROVING THE GROUNDS OF MALACAÑAN PALACE
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of seven thousand dollars, in money of the United States, for the purpose of filling in the swampy land in the grounds of Malacañan Palace and for draining and sodding the same, laying the necessary walks and roads and planting needed shrubbery and trees, and also for the purpose of rip-rapping the river or sea wall which supports the portico of Malacañan Palace. cSEDTC
SECTION 2. The improvements provided for by this Act shall be made under the direction of the Municipal Board of the city of Manila and the funds shall be withdrawn and disbursed by the disbursing officer of the city of Manila.
SECTION 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
