ACT NO. 94
AN ACT APPROPRIATING SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS, IN MONEY OF THE UNITED STATES, TO BE PAID TO THE WIDOW OF CELESTINO CRUZ, LATE PRESIDENT OF SANTA CRUZ, MARINDUQUE
SECTION 1. Whereas, Celestino Cruz, late president of Santa Cruz, Marinduque, was murdered while in the discharge of his official duties, on September fifteenth, nineteen hundred, because of his efficient administration of the civil government of the municipality and his loyalty to the United States; and
Whereas, his untimely death leaves his wife and his six young children in needy circumstances:
The sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars in money of the United States, is hereby appropriated, to be paid to the Provost-Marshal-General of Manila, to be held and expended by him for the use and benefit of the widow and children of the said Celestino Cruz.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
