REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4856
AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES DURING THE PERIOD FROM JULY FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX TO JUNE THIRTIETH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. Appropriation of Funds. — The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated out of any funds in the Philippine Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the operation of the government of the Republic of the Philippines during the period from July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-six to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and sixty-seven, except where otherwise specifically provided:

SECTION 36. Effectivity Date. — This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-six, except where otherwise provided.
