ACT NO. 2955
AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE OF RURAL ROADS AND BRIDGES ON THE SO-CALLED "FRIAR ESTATE"
SECTION 1. The Director of Lands is hereby authorized to expend seventy-five thousand pesos of the friar lands funds, reimbursable out of the funds of the Insular Treasury, for the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads, trails, and bridges on the friar estates acquired by the Government and at present under the administration of the Bureau of Lands.
SECTION 2. The funds appropriated by this Act shall be distributed by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources among the municipalities in which said estates are located, subject to the approval of the presiding officers of both Houses of the Legislature.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
