REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9248

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION 2 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4894 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "AN ACT CREATING THE CITY OF CADIZ," AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

SECTION 1. Section 2 of Republic Act No. 4894 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 2. Territory of the City of Cadiz. — The City of Cadiz, which is hereby created, shall comprise the present territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Cadiz in the Province of Negros Occidental, including Lot 1585, Cadiz City CAD. 109 (AP-06-004499) (identical to Lot 224-C. CSD-7915) situated in the Barangay of Tinampa-an, City of Cadiz, Province of Negros Occidental, Island of Negros. Bounded on the S along line 1-2 by Lot 1584, Cadiz CAD. 109; on the W and N along lines 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 by Tinampa-an River; on the NE along lines 12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20-21-22 by public land; on the SE along lines 22-23-24-25-26 by a creek on the S along lines 26-27-28-29-1 by Lot 1584, Cadiz CAD. 109. Containing an area of three hundred nine thousand nine hundred three (309,903) square meters, more or less; caTESD

Lot Plan No. MR-06-000008 (Lot Plan No. RL-064504-000001) situated in the Barangay of Poblacion, City of Cadiz, Province of Negros Occidental, Island of Negros. Bounded on the NE, along line 1-2 by Calle Cabahug on the SE and SW along lines 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 by Tinampa-an River, on the NW along line 11-1 by public land. Containing an area of fifty-three thousand nine hundred fifteen (53,915) square meters, more or less;

Lot 173, Cadiz CAD. 109 (AP-06-004498) situated in the Barangay of Tinampa-an, City of Cadiz, Province of Negros Occidental, Island of Negros. Bounded on the SW, along lines 1-4 by public land; on the NW along line 4-5 by public land and Tinampa-an River; on the NE along line 5-6 by Tinampa-an River and public land on the E and S along lines 6-7-1 by public land. Containing an area of eleven thousand three hundred twenty-six (11,326) square meters, more or less; and

Lot Plan No. MR-06-000009 (Lot Plan No. RL-064504-000002), situated in the Barangay of Tinampa-an, City of Cadiz, Province of Negros Occidental, Island of Negros. Bounded on the SW and W along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12 by Lot 224-C, CSD-7915; on the NE and SE along line 12-13 by Tinampa-an River along lines 13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20 by Lot 173, Cadiz Cadastre, along lines 20-21-22 by Tinampa-an River and on the SE along line 22-1 by Lagasan River. Containing an area of sixty-four thousand thirty-seven (64,037) square meters, more or less."

SECTION 2. The above described lots together with the appurtenances thereto shall belong to the City of Cadiz and thereafter said lots may be sold or leased under such rules and regulations as the city government may promulgate. benchCDTA

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
