An Act Amending Act Numbered One Hundred and Forty, so as to Authorize Judges of Courts of First Instance to Hold Special Terms of their Several Courts at Places within their Respective Districts Other than those Fixed in Said Act
Act No. 390, enacted on April 17, 1902, amends Act No. 140 to allow judges of Courts of First Instance in the Philippines to hold special court sessions at locations within their districts, as deemed necessary by the Civil Governor for efficient justice administration. While judges must still conduct regular court sessions at designated times and places, this amendment provides flexibility to address specific needs in the judicial process. The Act emphasizes the urgency of its passage for public benefit and takes effect immediately upon enactment.
