An Act Amending Act Numbered Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Three, Entitled "An Act to Incorporate the City of Baguio and for Other Purposes," As Amended, in Order to Make All Fines, Forfeitures, and Fees Imposed and Collected by Any Justice of the Peace within the City of Baguio Accrue to the Benefit of the Treasury of the City of Baguio
Act No. 2184, enacted on June 17, 1912, amends the original incorporation act of the City of Baguio to stipulate that all fines, forfeitures, and fees collected by justices of the peace within the city will benefit the city's treasury. It establishes the roles of a justice of the peace and an auxiliary justice of the peace for Baguio, granting them similar powers as their counterparts outside Manila. The amendment clarifies that existing officers authorized to act as justices of the peace will retain concurrent jurisdiction in the city. This law took effect on July 1, 1912.
