An Act Amending Act No. 1890
Act No. 2504, enacted on February 5, 1915, amends a previous law to authorize the Governor-General to convey or lease real property owned by the Insular Government not only to provinces and municipalities but also to cities within the Philippine Islands. The amendment allows provincial, municipal, or city authorities to acquire, lease, or exchange Insular Government property under terms deemed convenient by the Governor-General. Additionally, it grants the Governor-General the authority to execute necessary contracts and deeds for these transactions. The Act clarifies that it does not alter existing laws governing the sale or lease of public property.
