LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 362
TO : Secretary of National Defense
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 872 amending Presidential Decree No. 206 dated June 6, 1973, with respect to the rule on suspension of proceedings of Military Tribunals and/or Civil Courts against those who have applied for amnesty, you are authorized to determine and order whether in each specific case trial by military tribunals may be commenced or resumed pending final action by me of the individual applications for amnesty filed by the accused under the provisions of pertinent Presidential Decrees on amnesty.
It is nonetheless essential, as it is hereby so directed, that the processing of applications for amnesty should be expedited and submitted to me with dispatch in the interest of justice.
Submission to me of reports of cases determined and ordered tried by the military tribunals, in consonance hereto, is desired.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 9th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-six.
