Amendments to R.A. 3159 Re: Establishment of San Miguel Emergency Hospital in Bulacan

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5229

AN ACT AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN MIGUEL, PROVINCE OF BULACAN, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAN MIGUEL EMERGENCY HOSPITAL"

SECTION 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and fifty-nine is amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a community hospital in the Municipality of San Miguel, Province of Bulacan, to be known as the San Miguel Community Hospital."

SECTION 2. Section three of the same Act is amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act." acd

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
