PROCLAMATION NO. 2383
FURTHER AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 2374, AS AMENDED, DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC CALAMITY IN CERTAIN PROVINCES AND CITIES IN THE COUNTRY
WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 2374 was issued on September 3, 1984, declaring the existence of a public calamity in certain provinces and cities in the country;
WHEREAS, due to great damage and destruction of life and property brought about by typhoon "Nitang" in Negros Oriental there is a need to include said province under the coverage of Proclamation No. 2374; aisa dc
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 2374 to include the province of Negros Oriental under its coverage.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 6th day of October, 1984, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Four.
