WHEREAS, Letter of Instruction No. 331 issued on 29 October 1975 proclaimed the year 1977 as the period for Reunion for Peace and granted incentives to veterans of World War II and their families to revisit the Philippines; casia
WHEREAS, during this significant event we should not overlook our own Filipino veterans who have served their nation well in war and in peace and are, therefore, worthy of incentives of the program;

NOW, THEREFORE, I hereby amend Letter of Instruction No. 331 to provide for the grant of the same accommodations, transportation and other incentives to bonafide Filipino veterans of World War II and members of their families traveling with them; specifically the incentives stated in Paragraphs No. 7, 8 and 11 of said Letter of Instructions. The Coordinating Committee for Reunion for Peace will prepare the necessary guidelines and regulations involved with this amendment.
